How Greenworldinvestor<\/span> got started<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Greenworldinvestocom completes One Year at the end of this one month and it has been amazing journey for Greenworldinvestor and for me.When I started this blog after being prodded by my friend Rajat<\/span> who runs the BlogDesignStudio<\/span>,I never thought it would become such a big part of life.The blog was inspired by Todd Harrison<\/a> of Minyanville<\/span>(note I personally don’t know him) who I have found to be one of the most truthful\/entertaining\/prescient writers on finance\/economics in a field mostly filled with people pushing their books.While this started as a blog about investing with a Green Theme,it was expanded into more topics such as\u00a0 Technology, China ,India, Employment,Geopolitics, Corruption, Macroeconomics.I have recently cut down on some topics like Technology,Macroeconomics .<\/p>\n

Where we are Now<\/strong><\/p>\n

I would like to think that Greenworldinvestor<\/span>.com has met all what it was meant for and much more.The Blog has a high quality readership from the corporate sector,students,retail as well as institutional investors, environmental activists as well as people interested in the topics written on the blog.We get visitors from almost 100 countries each day which points of tremendous diversification of\u00a0 readership and helps in getting very different views on topics.In terms of traffic to Greenworldinvestor<\/span>.com,it has been constantly been increasing month on month.We now get more than 50,000 visitors a month , 200,000 pageviews<\/span> and have around\u00a0 700 subscribers to the Blog.The blog is globally ranked 118,500 on <\/span>Alexa<\/a> which ranks websites on the Internet<\/p>\n

Where Greenworldinvestor<\/span>.com lacks is that it has not served as an interactive platform between readers though comments.Though I get a lot of comments privately ,the thing lacking is Greenworldinvestor<\/span>.com does\u00a0 not have active discussions<\/span>.I am working on how to improve this as well.<\/p>\n

What has the Blog given Me<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have managed to win innumerable friends in different places in the world,got educated on a lot of\u00a0 different things by\u00a0 writing them on the blog and interacting with the readers of the blog ( a lot of them more knowledgeable than me ).Its served as a great outlet for my thoughts and opinion and having them evaluated by a huge mass of intelligent people around the globe.<\/p>\n

The Future<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have no definite plans on what the future of Greenworldinvestor<\/span>.com would look like though I have thought of a lot of things without coming to any conclusion (if you have some thoughts please feel free to share).The Blog will get a major makeover as soon as Rajat<\/span> has enough time .It will have content better organized into different areas,separate feeds so that readers with special interests don’t get hit with 10 unrelated posts in a day.Speed was a concern as the site had become too slow,so a CDN provider has been added (hope it has helped).Greenworldinvestor<\/span>.com will continue to be a platform for unbiased, independent thinking on various different topics.<\/span><\/p>\n
