It makes it possible to produce solar panels at <em>lower temperatures<\/em>, which further helps in reducing costs.\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.greenworldinvestor.com\/2018\/03\/08\/perovskites-all-you-wanted-to-know-advantages-disadvantages\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Perovskite<\/a>s<\/strong>\u00a0is a material that can be mixed with liquids and sprayed on surfaces.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A <strong>perovskite solar cell<\/strong> is not only cheaper to manufacture but is also reporting an improvement in efficiency levels to 22.7% currently. <strong>Perovskite solar cells<\/strong> have thus become commercially attractive. Earlier perovskite could be made only under high temperatures using materials that could withstand extreme heat like glass. The <strong>inkjet process<\/strong> has the potential to further reduce costs and making it more versatile. Recently, a\u00a0Swedish construction group is testing it to be used\u00a0on the facade of one of its buildings in Warsaw. It is\u00a0also being tested at a hotel in Japan. Perovskites have proven successful even on surfaces that receive little sunlight. These are flexible and hence very versatile.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A <strong><em>standard panel\u00a0around 1.3 square meters\u00a0could cost you $57<\/em> <\/strong>but would power a workstation for one full day.
