The NEA which is the central authority in charge of setting renewable energy targets has revised it up now. However, even this estimate may be too low with Energy Trends predicting a <strong>2020 Chinese target of 250 GW<\/strong> of solar capacity which is nearly 2.5 time what the earlier target was. With <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greenworldinvestor.com\/2017\/01\/03\/chinese-solar-industry-could-face-a-massive-shakeup-in-2017-as-prices-remain-below-costs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>solar energy prices falling<\/strong><\/a> doing at least 40 GW a year seems quite easy. Though there are constraints such as the availability of the grid to move solar power from one region to another, it has not stopped the growth of solar energy till now.
