It is the largest thin film company, with more than 8000 employees. Hanergy Holding Group Ltd. was established in 1994, with its head quarters in Beijing.\u00a0It has branches in China, North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and other regions. Its business segments are hydropower, wind power, and photovoltaic power generation. Hanergy is thus a\u00a0clean-energy power generation company. Its total installed capacity of hydropower project exceeds 6GW and its total installed capacity of wind power projects is 131MW. Hanergy has a total production capacity of 3GW, in the solar energy field.\u00a0Hanergy has entered into solar-power plant construction agreements with a total capacity of about 10GW.<\/p>\n<p>Hanergy bought <em>Solibro<\/em> which has one of the best <strong>thin film CIGs<\/strong> technology and a 100 MW capacity from bankrupt Q-Cells.\u00a0Hanergy also bought <em>Miasole<\/em>, which is\u00a0another leader in thin film solar panel space for a mere $30 million.\u00a0Miasole was one of the highest efficiencies in CIGs solar panels and was supposed to be the next gen leader in the solar energy manufacturing companies in the USA. <span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">The acquisitions of\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"line-height: 19px;\">Solibro<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"line-height: 19px;\">MiaSole<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">\u00a0have helped Hanergy \u00a0to achieve <strong>15.5%<\/strong> efficiency with its CIGS modules.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Now Hanergy has bought the\u00a0U.S. firm <em>Global Solar Energy Inc,<\/em> to further strengthen its hold over the solar panel production technology.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Hanergy Solar Modules<\/h3>\n<p>Hanergy manufactures high efficiency <strong>thin film<\/strong> solar modules.\u00a0Almost 95% of the production materials are manufactured internally and supplied for solar module manufacture. The different thin film techniques used by Hanergy are:<\/p>\n<p>i)\u00a0Amorphous silicon triple junction thin film solar technology,<\/p>\n<p>ii)\u00a0Micromorph Thin Film Solar technology and<\/p>\n<p>iii)\u00a0CIGS Thin Film Solar technology<\/p>\n<h3>Features of Hanergy Solar Modules<\/h3>\n<p>Hanergy solar panels are manufactured using thin film technology, which has the following characteristic features:<a href=\"http:\/\/www.greenworldinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/hanergy1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-13973\" title=\"hanergy1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.greenworldinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/hanergy1-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>i) Hanergy modules consume less energy and material its manufacturing.<\/p>\n<p>ii) Hanergy PV modules are light weight and are also flexible and hence easy to install.<\/p>\n<p>iii) Hanergy PV modules have an added advantage to be used on\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">non\u00a0bearing roof or limited bearing roof as they\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">do not require any\u00a0supporting holders.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>iv) Can be used efficiently under low light conditions because they can absorb the\u00a0diffuse-reflected light.<\/p>\n<p>v) Can be used effectively in high temperature conditions because of\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">low temperature coefficient.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>vi)\u00a0The color of the thin film PV modules can be modified through the PVB foil<\/p>\n<p>vii) The power output of Hanergy solar panels can be improved because thin film solar cells with triple junction consists of\u00a0a-Si top cell, a-SiGe middle cell and a-SiGe bottom cell. A-Si top cell utilizes the short wavelength part of the solar spectrum, while\u00a0the a-SiGe junctions broaden spectra absorbance range of the cell, thus improving the power output.<\/p>\n<h3>Hanergy Solar Panels &#8211; Models<\/h3>\n<p><strong>1) HNS-55<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2) HNS-60<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3) HNS-65<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Successful application of Hanergy Solar Panels<a href=\"http:\/\/www.greenworldinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/hanergy3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-13974\" title=\"hanergy3\" src=\"http:\/\/www.greenworldinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/hanergy3-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Hanergy solar panels have been used conveniently at the <em>L&#8217;Aquila project<\/em> in Italy. \u00a0Hanergy&#8217;s BIPV modules have been successfully integrated into facades in the\u00a0<em>Jiangsu Wujin<\/em> project. A plant is under construction at the\u00a0global headquarters in\u00a0Beijing, which aims at the\u00a0integration of solar thin film PV modules to facades and rooftops.
