Yingli Green Energy<\/a><\/strong> (YGE) is one of the oldest Chinese companies and is completely integrated.\u00a0One of the world\u2019s first fully vertically integrated<\/em> photovoltaic manufacturers, the company develops, manufactures and sells high-quality modules under the brand Yingli Solar to a wide range of markets including Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece, France, South Korea, China, and the United States. The company is headquartered in Baoding, China with over 11,000 employees worldwide & more than 10 branch offices globally.\u00a0The business model covers the entire PV value chain, from polysilicon production to the assembly of modules.<\/p>\n

Distinguishing Features between Trina Solar and Yingli Solar Modules<\/h1>\n

Both Yingli Green and Trina Solar are amongst the best buys according to me in 2013<\/a>. They are low cost Chinese solar panel producers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Classification of Solar Modules and Available Models<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trina Solar<\/strong>\u00a0modules are classified for convenience of use into\u00a0Commercial, Residential & Utility<\/em>.\u00a0Trina Solar offers i) PA05: 60 cell Universal (residential, commercial and utility) ii)\u00a0PD05: 60 cell\u00a0Dual Glass (residential, commercial and utility)\u00a0 iii)\u00a0PA14: 72 cell Utility, iv) PD14: 72 cell Utility. They come in both monocrystalline and multicrystalline makes.<\/p>\n

Yingli Solar<\/strong> panels are divided into: i) Monocrystalline: PANDA 48 and 60 cell series ii) Multicrystalline: YGE 48, 60 and 72 cell series and iii) Off-grid modules: YLSYS 300, 800, 1200 and 1600 series. Yingli solar panels can also be conveniently used for residential, commercial and utility<\/em> purposes.<\/p>\n

Yingli Green modules have a positive power tolerance of 0 W to+5 W, while\u00a0Trina Solar modules have a\u00a0power output ~0-+3%.<\/p>\n

Trina Solar modules weigh 15.6 kg for monocrystalline panels and 19.5 kg and 28 kg for multicrystalline modules and Yingli modules weighs between 15 to 21 kg.<\/p>\n

Trina Solar Modules\u00a0are manufactured according to international Quality and environment Management System Standards ISO9001, ISO14001. Yingli Green modules are certified under\u00a0IEC\u00a061215,\u00a0<\/em>IEC\u00a061730, <\/em>MCS, CE, ISO\u00a09001:2008, ISO\u00a014001:2004, BS OHSAS\u00a018001:2007, SA\u00a08000, PV CYCLE.<\/p>\n
