The agreement is to supply approximately 41K YGE 60 cell series panels. They are\u00a0expected to generate 13.6 million kWh of electricity yearly. Ltd. (CSUN)<\/strong> inaugurated a PV factory in\u00a0Tuzla, in Istanbul, Turkey with a capacity of\u00a0120 MW. The plant boasts to be the largest one in Turkey. Depending upon Europe&#8217;s mandate on anti-dumping proceedings, the factory looks to expand into cell manufacturing as well. The plant will be better off than the\u00a0CSUN facility in China, in terms of mechanization and quality with a view to reduce costs. The plant is located in the Trade Free Zone to ensure maximum tax benefits. The Turkey plant looks promising, with new expected installation of 3-4\u00a0GW of production capacity in the next three to four years.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>3)\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/company-asks-georgia-psc-to-bring-solar-to-coal-plant-communities-208817281.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Georgia Solar Utilities requested PSC to go Solar for Coal impacted Areas<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Georgia Solar Utilities<\/strong>, Atlanta\u00a0requested 0.5 GW of solar energy to power more than 200K homes in the coal plants\u00a0impacted areas. Georgia Solar surely believes in the Solar energy future and presented their plan to the\u00a0Public Service Commission. The decision will be pending till late June, when PSC will decide on the above. The lease program excludes any upfront cost for solar power system for residential purpose. This way the customers can cut their energy costs and they are also given the freedom to choose the solar panels suiting their requirements. Both the companies are very happy with the partnership and the program will definitely bear fruits for the people of New Mexico.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong style=\"font-size: 1.17em; line-height: 19px;\">5) <a href=\"http:\/\/armyeitf.com\/index.php\/opportunities\/request-for-information\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The US Army to use\u00a0electrical power from a PV generation system in Arizona<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The U.S. Army is looking at procuring electrical power from a Photovoltaic PV generation system located at Fort Huachuca, Arizona to power Fort Huachuca Renewable Energy Project. The Government has made its intentions very clear that it wants to\u00a0purchase only the energy that is produced by the PV system.
